Bumper gossip: Griezmann, Lindelof, Hart, £85m Alli

The news that Antoine Griezmann ‘tops Manchester United’s summer wishlist’ will surprise no-one, nor will the fact that Victor Lindelof is not far behind in terms of the Premier League club’s priority signings. Yet that is the line the Daily Mail are feeding us on Friday morning.

The pair, according to Dominic King, would cost a combined £130million, and ‘will make United champions’ in the eyes of Jose Mourinho. Lindelof is seen as a ‘significant improvement’ on the club’s current defenders. Griezmann would ‘define his plans for the next campaign’.

Another rumour that does not shock or stun but in fact makes perfect sense is the Daily Mirror’s claim that Real Madrid want Sergio Aguero. The Manchester City striker has long been linked with the Spanish giants, but that was before his place at the Etihad Stadium was ever threatened. With Gabriel Jesus now on the scene, could Aguero move on?

John Cross and Darren Lewis team up to tell us that Real will make a bid, with Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata potentially leaving the club. Atletico Madrid and also interested, as well as Juventus and PSG.
